FINAL TASK

 

Hi mates!

For the final task of this course, we are going to get inspired by other mates' works to do a final project in our classes. 

Inspired by the Genially activities of Learn English for School Kids and English Teacher Dolores' blogs we are going to create a common Genially presentation in class to welcome our new Teaching Assistant from Australia. 

• The main objectives of this project are to get to know a bit more about this country and its customs before the arrival of the new teaching assistant and to practice both listening and speaking skills while presenting the Genially and both reading and writing skills when creating it. 
• Once the topic and the objectives are presented to the students, we have to make groups to divide the job among all students. The general topic of Australia would be divided into different subtopics such as festivities, weather, traditions, celebrities, gastronomy, etc. and each group will be responsible for researching that specific subtopic and adding it to the class' Genially. 
• There will be different stages throughout the activity so students can have feedback before creating the final product. Students will submit their first drafts and then they will send a second one before sending in the final product. This way, they will have feedback from their classmates and the teacher along the way. 
• Once finished, the Genially will be orally presented in class and also uploaded to the class' Google Classroom and social media.
